Deitrick Haddon - God Didn't Give Up On Me

Deitrick Haddon - "God Didn't Give Up On Me" from the Gospel Live CD/DVD. This song has a great message and lyrics. You can pick up The Gospel Live CD/DVD at or any local music store. Also ...

My name is Beverly A. Smith. I am a servant of Jesus Christ being renewed day-by-day. I am a mother of two adult children, a daughter and a son, and I have one beautiful grandson.

I love reading, studying God's Word and writing by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. I love encouraging people... giving hope to those who are in despair through the Word of God. This is what I do, this is who I am, regardless of how I feel or what I'm going through in my own private life. I no longer have a choice in the matter. Once you're called of God you're called. "The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable." What that means is that when God calls you and and gives you a gift, He doesn't take it back.

I've learned it is very painful, (self-inflicted pain) to continue to kick against the pricks, instead of trusting God and yielding to His perfect will for my life.

This is what I'm called to do; to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, and share my life experiences in my daily walk to edify, encourage and comfort others.

I began writing prophetically about five years ago, before I even realize what it was called. I would get an unction in my spirit and be compelled to write with revelation that could only come from the Holy Spirit.

I was called into ministry six years ago. Not sure of my calling or even believing that God could even use me in all of my mess. To my surprise, God has taken my mess and turned it into a message of Hope with His Saving Grace and Mercy! Hallelujah!!!

Ephesians 2:8, For it is by "GRACE" you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves (NOT of any works), it is the gift of God...

Lamentations 3:22-23, It is of the LORD'S "MERCIES" that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
